ABOUT ME.

Meashline Faith Komara, MSW, LCSW, LCSWC

Welcome. I'm glad you're here.

Finding the right therapist is a deeply personal decision, and it’s important to feel seen, understood, and safe in the process. I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with years of experience helping individuals, couples, and families navigate life transitions, emotional distress, and the long-lasting impact of trauma.

Clinically, I use evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), trauma-informed care, and mindfulness strategies to support healing and growth. Whether you’re working through anxiety, depression, or past trauma, or simply seeking clarity and peace, I offer a nonjudgmental space for you to explore, process, and move forward.

Born in Liberia and having lived in the United States for many years, my lived experience across continents allows me to hold a culturally sensitive lens in therapy—one that honors cultural values. I understand how identity, intergenerational expectations, or migration can shape mental health, and I help clients explore these complexities with care and intention.

You're not alone in your journey—and I’m here to support you every step of the way!
